Our Upcoming Weekend

Alan and I are hosting some precious friends this weekend!  Cori and Brooks are friends of mine from way back...  Cori and I met in the 3rd grade, and we've been dear friends ever since.  Her entire family (grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.) are really special to me!  We met Brooks in high school, and Cori and Brooks were high school sweethearts that married in 2005.  He's one of the funniest and wittiest people that I've ever met.  Seriously, you don't know what will come out of his mouth!  Alan didn't grow up with us, but he loves Cori and Brooks as much as I do!

Two years ago, we met at Table Rock Lake for an extended weekend.  We played games, ate lots of junk food, watched movies, ate more junk food, and laughed a ton.  The guys even attempted some fishing, but it was really cold!  It was February, after all.

Last year, we weren't able to go on a trip together, but Alan and I went to Lafayette and were able to meet them for dinner one night.  Cori and Brooks also made the trip to Shreveport for Nick and Heather's wedding, so we were able to see them then.  Both visits were really short, but any amount of time spent with the Webres is loads of fun and memories are always made!

We had planned to meet at 'The Barndominium' this weekend, but because it's not quite furnished, we decided to move the trip to Jackson.  They will be here on Friday evening, and we plan on repeating our Table Rock Lake trip...  except it will be at our house.  We can't wait to see them!

We are really excited to spend some uninterrupted time with them this weekend!  And we are hoping to have another long weekend with them in the fall at 'The Barndominium'.  Hope you have a great weekend!
